TRSB19: Check In and Deadline Reminders

Hello, TRSB-ers! 

Where is time going…?  It’s almost the end of July, which means it’s check in day tomorrow - if you’re one of our claiming authors, please don’t forget to let the mods know whether you’re still on track to finish your fic in time for the posting deadline of 25th August.

Also, a reminder of some other key dates which are coming up fast…

- ARTISTS - final art is due to be provided to your author by 4th August.  If you are going to have a problem with this, please get in touch with us now to let us know, so we can try and work out a solution!  (This applies only to the initial pieces you submitted.  Any optional, additional pieces can be completed any time up to reveals on 1st September.)

- CLAIMING AUTHORS - the next check in after this one is 11th August.  This is the absolute backstop deadline for abandoning your fic to a pinch hitter!  If you drop out after this date, we’re sorry, but you won’t be able to take part next year unless it was due to circumstances completely beyond your control.  Also, please do not miss this check in date. If you do, then we will assume you have dropped out and your claimed art will be reassigned to a pinch hitter.  If you know you aren’t going to be around, please check in ahead of time.

- PINCH HITTERS - please be aware that there may be requests for pinch hits coming out over the course of the next few weeks.  Keep an eye on your inboxes!

- EVERYONE - fics should be in the collection, with the artwork embedded, linked or appropriately credited, by 25th August.  Fics must be complete.  Again, if you miss this date or submit incomplete fic, your claimed art will be reassigned to a pinch hitter and you will not be able to take part next year.  (Treats can be added any time up to reveals on 1st September.)

Finally, don’t forget that once your fic is in, we will also ask you to create a Tumblr master post so that we can promote the results of your collaboration via our blog.  (The next check in reminder email will contain details of exactly how to go about creating this post and submitting it to the mods.)  

Please make sure you discuss any preferences regarding reblog dates with your partner soon, as we will ask about these at the next check in.
